Food pairings: Among the Prasso wines that are best appreciated throughout the meal, however, giving preference to robust appetizers, first courses based on stuffed and well-seasoned pasta, risottos (which can, in fact, be cooked with Barbera), red and white meats and fatty, well-aged cheeses. Grape variety of origin: Barbera is the main Piedmontese grape variety. Adaptable to the hilly terrain, it plays with good exposure and careful cultural care (pruning, thinning of the bunches, harvesting choices).
