GUARANTEED QUALITY Cheese made from fresh milk and aged using traditional methods in the cellars of Caseificio Rosso, in Biella, Piedmont. Packaged and shipped directly from our farm store. Whole cheese in photo: 450g approx. Satiro is a two-milk cheese: it is made from pasteurized goat and sheep's milk. It has a soft but compact texture and a balanced taste, delicate but also herbaceous. It is ideal in the kitchen both grated and for the preparation of imaginative dishes. Satiro is part of the "i Piccolini" line, an ideal format for gifts and tastings. DETAILS 100% Made in Italy Rind: it is thin, light brown in color. Not edible rind. Paste: white in color, it has diffused, thin and regularly distributed holes. The flavor is delicate and fragrant. Maturation: the cheeses are matured for a period of 45 days in underground rooms on white fir boards.
