Montanara with Peperoncino is a semi-soft, long-ripening cheese made from local, whole, pasteurized cow's milk. During processing we add chili pepper. DETAILS 100% Made in Italy Rind: thick, grey-brown in color, with colored molds in the long-maturing product. Non-edible rind. Paste: white with diffused holes. The flavor, which increases in intensity as the seasoning progresses, is a combination of the soft and delicate texture of the paste and the piquancy of the chili pepper. Maturation: the cheeses are matured in underground rooms, on white fir boards, for a period that can vary from 30 to 90 days. Use: it is used as a table cheese and in cooking.
