GUARANTEED QUALITY Cheese made from local milk and aged using traditional methods in the cellars of Caseificio Rosso, in Biella, Piedmont. Cut, packaged and shipped directly from our farm store. Whole wheel pictured: 4.8Kg approx. Montanara with herbs is a semi-soft cheese made from local, whole, pasteurized cow's milk. During processing, we add Fennel and Coriander seeds. DETAILS 100% Made in Italy Rind: thick, grey-brown in color, with colored molds in the long-maturing product. Non-edible rind. Paste: white in color with diffused holes. The flavor is intense and aromatic. Maturation: the cheeses are aged in underground rooms, on white fir boards, for a period that can vary from 30 to 90 days. Use: it is used as a table cheese and in cooking. Ingredients: Cow's milk, fennel and coriander seeds (1%), salt, rennet, milk enzymes. Guaranteed minimum weight portions
