GUARANTEED QUALITY Cheese produced according to traditional methods aged in the cellars of Caseificio Rosso, in Biella, Piedmont. Packaged and shipped directly from our company store. Whole cheese in photo: 320g approx. Pizziko is a soft, medium-matured cheese. Produced with whole cow's milk, pasteurized, processed with the addition of Chili directly into the milk. The aromatic flavor and the delicate spiciness combine with the sweetness of the paste born from the milk of the alpine cow breed "Pezzata Rossa d'Oropa". Pizziko is part of the "i Piccolini" line, an ideal format for gifts and tastings. DETAILS 100% Made in Italy Rind: it is gray-brown, wrinkled and often has characteristic white, gray and yellow molds. If washed it assumes a brown coloration. The rind is not edible. Paste: it has a straw-white color with diffused holes. The flavor is aromatic and becomes more intense as the cheese matures. Maturation: the cheeses are matured in fresh and humid environments, on white fir boards, for an average period of 45 days.
