Tartufetto was born from the encounter between Caseificio Rosso's Maccagno (Among 17 Best Cheeses in Italy by Gambero Rosso) and summer truffle. It is a medium-mature, semi-soft cheese made from pasteurized local cow's milk. Its flavor is intense but balanced between the intensity of the truffle and the sweetness of the paste. DETAILS 100% Made in Italy Rind: it is thin, brown in color. The seasoned form can present characteristic colored molds. Rind is not edible, surface treated with E 150a (Caramel) Paste: white / straw-colored, has holes spread, thin and regularly distributed.
